Interview with Papi Chulo

How long have you been in the adult industry?

I entered the industry in June of 2007.

Did you do any work in the industry before signing on with Raging Stallion?

I filmed the relaunch of Falcon's Jocks line in a movie called "Road Trip: Russian River". I filmed a scene with my good friend Riley Burke, and another with James Hamilton. Shortly after that I filmed "Grunts" and signed with Raging Stallion.

How did you become a Raging Stallion Exclusive?

Right after I finished my first scene with Raging Stallion, which was a scene in "Grunts" with Justin Christopher, Chris Ward offered me a contract. Before I left, I signed on for my first year.

How long have you been an exclusive with Raging Stallion?

I was signed exclusive in July 2007.

What was your first time on a porn set like?

I remember being incredibly nervous. My biggest concern was being able to stay hard and being able to finish, but I found out that was easier than I thought. The first experience was okay, but I didn't actually start enjoying myself on porn shoots until I started working for Stallion.

GRUNTS was a huge production ... What was it like on that massive set?

I had a blast on the set of Grunts. I got to meet so many cool guys, and made so many new friends. That's where I met Luke Hass and Justin Christopher, two guys I became close with after the shoot. It was just a good time with good people. No complaints!

For GRUNTS ... You guys had to perform actual military drills ... Did that help you get into character?

Definetly. I wasn't really into all the drills, but I did them anyways. It was cool to see what real army dudes have to go through. It's tough work!

Your first two films for Raging Stallion were Trouser Trout and GRUNTS ... Both were very different types of porn ... One was a blockbuster feature ... and the other was pretty much wall-to-wall sex ... What kind of film do you enjoy shooting the most?

I liked the big budget feel of Grunts, but the wall to wall sex wasn't so bad either. Both were fun to film because I was just getting into the groove of things with Raging Stallion and kinda still putting my feet in the water. It was just all so new to me and I was soaking up both experiences, and over all both were simply awesome.

In Jock Itch ... you had some rough sex in the showers ... That sounds like a fantasy come true ... Tell me about your scene with Josh West.

My scene with Josh was by far my favorite scene I've filmed since I started working with Stallion. Josh is my ideal type physically: shaved head, go tee, muscles, beer can cock, hard ass... everything about him turned me on. Damien and I have met before and we got to know eachother pretty well before hand. He is a total sweet heart, and I love the guy to pieces. It's cool because when we know eachother before hand, it relieves some of that initial awkwardness on a set of "Hey, how's it going, we're about to fuck." So I had a blast with him. He is a really great fuck, and amazingly beautiful. I had fun.

Who has been your absolute favorite scene-mate thus far?

Josh West!

How would you describe an ideal scene that you would star in?

Right now, my ideal scene would have to be me as the pass around bottom for a group of super hung, super hot guys. I absolutely do. It's so cool to hear from them. I think the fact that I blog so often and so personally, it gives everyone a chance to feel more connected to me, which I love. I try to answer back to every comment. I started the blog as just a little thing to keep myself busy, but it's really turned into quite the monster. The traffic is amazing, and the fans have really enjoyed it.

Have you always been interested in doing porn?

I remember wanting to do porn ever since I was a little kid and I was stealing videos from my parents :-)

You are currently competing in a national modeling competition sponsored by the elite Ford Modeling Studio ... Have you always been interested in being a mainstream model?

Absolutely. The Ford contest was sent to me from a fan, and I decided to enter on a whim. I'd done some modeling before going to Raging Stallion, for a few local clothing lines in Detroit and some well known photographers in the Detroit area. I've had pictures of mine in galleries and exhibits. Being in front of the camera is just a fun thing for me, and I guess it comes natural. I want to see where it takes me. This Ford contest is a real oppurtunity for me.

How can your fans help you win this competition?

Everyone can help by voting, and sending out the link to as many people as you can! I need all the help I can get, and I just want to see this happen. If a gay porn star can break into mainstream modeling, that would be huge for the industry. I for one would love to see it happen.

What are your future plans?

I'm in school right now studying Business Marketing. I want to stay in the industry as long as it will allow me to stay, as I have such a great time making movies and meeting the guys.
